The Twin Lakes Area had another 3 1/2 inches of snowfall after 7 a.m. Monday, giving the area a total of 6 1/2 inches since Sunday. We also reached a record low for the third consecutive day as the temperature got down to -7 degrees Tuesday at KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home.
There is a brief reprieve from the snow, but Meteorologist Willie Gilmore from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says “brief” is the key word.
