President Joe Biden has signed a number of Executive Orders this week and some of those orders had to do with the coronavirus pandemic. For example, President Biden signed an executive order requiring people to wear masks when traveling. And that doesn t just mean air travel.
According to CNN, the mandate applies to all interstate travel.
Wearing a face mask will soon be federally mandated for interstate travelers in the United States, according to an executive order signed by President Joe Biden on Thursday.

The coronavirus pandemic is still going on but it appears as though in many places across the United States the days of high cases and high hospitalizations are beginning to track down. In Lubbock, new coronavirus cases that are announced are lower than numbers being announced late this Fall. With Texas Tech students returning, all eyes will be on the case count going forward.
While the drop in cases is good, it s not the only good news. According to the City of Lubbock Health Department, over 15,000 citizens in Lubbock have received at least their first vaccine.
Fatal Accident Involving Hudson Valley School Bus Shuts Down Road

On Wednesday around 2 p.m., parts of Route 9D in Fishkill was closed due to an accident involving a school bus and motor vehicle. Route 9D, one-half mile north of Red Schoolhouse Road, is closed in both directions. (An) extended closure is expected due to a serious motor vehicle accident, the Town of Fishkill Police Department wrote on Facebook.
NY-Alert later confirmed the accident was fatal. Road Closure: N/S NY 9D between Red Schoolhouse Road & Baxtertown Road - V/Fishkill - Dutchess Co.- due to Fatal Crash involving School Bus blocking all lanes, NY-Alert wrote.
