Foundation supports program at Albany Med

ALBANY Albany Med has announced a $150,000 donation from the Hearst Foundations, which will support of the Sexual Assault Forensic Nurse Examiner (SAFE) pediatric program at The Massry Family Children’s Emergency Center.
The announcement was made to coincide with Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April). The gift will enable the program to expand its education and training for its specially trained examiners and ensure a comfortable environment for the children in its care, Albany Med said in a release.
