YOU DON’T KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY RIGHT CLERMONT COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH TOOK APPOINTMENTS AND WALK-INS AT FELICITY-FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL. THEY SAW MOSTLY ADULTS AND A FEW TEENS. Credit Las Cruces Public School District: Interim Superintendent Ralph Ramos
LAS CRUCES - The Las Cruces Public Schools Board of Education has selected two finalists to fill the permanent superintendent position. The candidates are Ralph Ramos, who is currently the interim superintendent, and Dr. Oscar Rico from the Canutillo Independent School District.
The two will be part of a facilitated forum Wednesday, May 26 at 6 p.m. The event will be livestreamed and is open to the public for viewing. Questions will be moderated by the Superintendent Search Advisory Committee, an eight-member group of parents, LCPS staff, community members and a student. Board President Ray Jaramillo serves as chair.
More than 4,000 high school seniors in the Elk Grove Unified School District will get to do something few thought would be possible celebrate graduation in person.The state s fifth-largest school district has come up with a plan that will allow graduating seniors to walk across the stage, in person and with their classmates, starting Monday.Over a three-day period, 13 schools will hold commencement ceremonies at two outdoor venues.Cosumnes Oaks High School will host its graduation ceremony and Laguna Creek s on Monday; Elk Grove Charter, Rio Cazadero, Calvine and Las Flores high schools Tuesday; and Franklin High School on Wednesday.Monterey Trail High School will host its own ceremony and Valley High s on Monday; Florin and Pleasant Grove high schools on Tuesday, and Sheldon and Elk Grove high schools on Wednesday.Many performances from band to dance will take place on large video screens.Each student will be allotted four tickets for guests in an effort to reduce crowd size.

LAS CRUCES – The Las Cruces Public Schools Board of Education has selected two finalists to fill the permanent superintendent position. The candidates are Ralph Ramos, who is currently the interim superintendent, and Oscar Rico from the Canutillo Independent School District in the El Paso area.
