Where: Central Bratislava: Namestie Slobody, Hodzovo square, and SNP square
Expected number of participants: Approximately 500 - 1000
Actions to Take:
- Avoid areas of demonstrations and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings or protests.
- Remain proactive and pay attention to your surroundings.
- Keep a low profile.
- Monitor local media for updates: Slovak Spectator is a local English language newspaper; Radio RSI is a radio station with some English language reporting.
Security Alert: Laos - Lockdown extended to June 4
On May 20, the Government of Lao PDR extended the previously announced lockdown through Friday, June 4. All previously announced restrictions remain in place.
The new order allows for government officials to impose increased movement restrictions in areas affected by COVID-19 and a relaxation of movement restrictions in areas of lowered concern. In the order the Lao national government has delegated authority to local governments to exactly define these areas.
We urge all U.S. citizens to reconsider non-vital travel within Laos and to follow all COVID-19 regulations.
