The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Kenya due to COVID-19, indicating a very high level of COVID-19 in the country.
The U.S. Embassy is unable to secure a bed or other medical care for U.S. citizens at private or public hospitals, nor can it provide medical care for private citizens. If you must travel to Kenya at this time, you should have travel insurance that includes coverage for an air ambulance evacuation in the event you have symptomatic COVID-19. International flights are still operating, though limited. Internal flights are restricted, and road and rail transportation are limited geographically and by curfew. Demonstration Alert – U.S. Embassy, Bamako, Mali – April 28, 2021

The group called the Coalition of Victims of Repetitive Power Cuts has called for a sit-in on Thursday, April 29 at 10:00 AM in front of the Energy of Mali (EDM) headquarters. This is the second planned demonstration by the group; the previous one was forcefully dispersed by police on April 22. This event has not been approved by the government. Given the proposed location of the sit-in, it has the potential to disrupt traffic.
Demonstrations sometimes turn violent, resulting in the burning of tires, clashes with the police, blockage on the roads and bridges, throwing of rocks at vehicles, the deployment of tear gas, and small arms fire.
Health Alert – U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand (April 26, 2021)

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has ordered numerous business venues and gathering places deemed high-risk for spreading COVID-19 to close from April 26, 2021 to at least May 9, 2021. In addition, business hours for a number of venues are reduced.
Forty-five provinces, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Chon Buri, have made wearing a face mask in public compulsory. The Ministry of Interior will impose a fine of up to 20,000 baht for not wearing a mask in both indoor and outdoor public spaces.
