Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia), in partnership with Santa Rosa Island Authority and Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), will offer free COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, May 28, 2021, Saturday, May 29, 2021, Sunday, May 30, 2021, and Monday, May 31, 2021 at Casino Beach on Pensacola Beach. Additional Details: Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will be available to eligible participants ages 12 and up. Vaccine recipients will be expected to receive their second dose at FDOH-Escambia the week of Monday, June 21, 2021. Single-shot Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines will be available to eligible participants ages 18 and up.

TAMPA, Fla. â Side coordinators want to remind people Tuesday, May 25 is the last day for vaccinations at the federally-supported Tampa Greyhound Track COVID vaccination site.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management says the last day federally-supported vaccination sites will administer shots is Tuesday, May 25, and says on Wednesday, May 26, the site will close permanently and begin demobilizing.
Virginia Elston got her second dose on Monday and said the vaccination site has been very convenient.
âPrior to coming here, I was trying to sign up online, and it was confusing, and they didnât have this, and you had to go here, and to just be able to come here, drive in, and get it done was very valuable, said Elston.

As the six-month hurricane season officially begins June 1, the Florida Division of Emergency Management will have surpassed 450 days responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They would love to get back to doing tropical cyclones and wildfires and things like that, because we have been doing COVID a very long time, and we re ready to be doing something else,” division Director Kevin Guthrie said.
The hurricane season is projected to be above average for storms and got off to an early start as Tropical Storm Ana has already formed and dissipated,

JACKSONVILLE, Fla Tuesday is the last day for COVID-19 vaccines at Gateway Mall.
The federally-supported state vaccination site is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and has the Pfizer vaccine and Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Since opening in March, the site has given about 85 thousand vaccinations.
