Wicked Local A 28-year-old California woman living in Boston was in critical condition as of Tuesday morning after she was hit by a car Monday night on Memorial Drive in Cambridge. The woman, who is from Upland, California, was on foot near 945 Memorial Drive and the Weeks Footbridge around 9:14 p.m. when a 2019 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 29-year-old Brookline woman, hit her. She was transported to Beth Israel Hospital, according to State Police.  The driver, who was uninjured, remained on scene. The incident is under investigation by Troop H of the Massachusetts State Police with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and State Police Crime Scene Services Section. Cambridge Police and Fire also assisted.
