RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 3, 2021 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian freedom fighters in Israeli jails, one of them sentenced to 16 life terms plus 30 years and the other one life sentence plus 15 years, began today their 20
th year behind bars, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
Salim Mohammad Hajji, 48, from the northern West Bank city of Nablus, was sentenced to 16 life terms plus 30 years for his resistance of the Israeli occupation. He has been denied family visits for many years, including from his wife who is unable to visit him on regular basis, and was able to see his son, Omar, for the first time only during one of his trials.
Cancer-stricken Palestinian prisoner completes 18 years behind Israeli bars
RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 03, 2021 (WAFA) – Sick Palestinian prisoner Sa’ed Al-Banna, 40, from Tulkarem in the northern occupied West Bank, completed today 18 years behind bars, today said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
Al-Banna was arrested in 2003 and was sentenced to life in prison for resisting the occupation.
He has been subjected to deliberate medical negligence over the years by the Israeli prison service (IPS). He suffers from cancer and chronic abdominal problems.

Israeli occupation forces today shot and injured two Palestinians in the northern West Bank districts of Tubas and Nablus, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) and security sources.
Director of the PPS office in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that Israeli occupation forces opened fire toward a local resident and injured him with two bullets in the chest during a raid of Tubas. He was taken to the hospital, where medics described his condition as stable.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian was injured from Israeli military gunfire as scores of fanatic Israeli settlers barged their way into Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus city.
