A man who vowed to March the Month for Prostate Cancer UK has seen his sponsorship soar to more than £1,200.
Ian Misselbrook - writer of our new, monthly Notes on Nature column - has been averaging more than 21,000 steps a day during March, as he takes on a walking challenge to support the menâs health charity.
Ian, 65, who lives in Rippingale, said: I started with short legs and I am sure that I have worn them down even further! Six of my seven walks commenced from my home and I have traversed fenland to the east, arable farmland to the north and south and rolling, well-wooded countryside to the west.â
