Samuel Atta-Kyea, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Samuel Atta-Kyea, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South has in a tribute to late former President Jerry John Rawlings detailed how he became friends with the NDC founder.
In his tribute which was captured in the brochure, Atta-Kyea retold the story of how a call from Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings to represent Jerry John Rawlings in a civil case birthed their relationship.
He narrates, “so what brought together a known NPP Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South who is also a barrister with considerable legal practice and the founder of NDC and Ghana’s longest-serving head of state Flt Lt JJ Rawlings (Rtd)?”

The sad revelations and developments during and after the funeral of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings have moved me to author this publication. It is no secret to many a Ghanaian that some publicly unknown persons have emerged from nowhere to announce that they are the biological children of the deceased former President. Whether they actually are or not, it does not negate the essence of this publication about the fact some Ghanaian married women are unreasonably control freaks.

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has promised to get a tattoo of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings in his memory.
Former President Rawlings is the longest-serving head of state in Ghana’s Fourth Republic and, among other things, has been described by many as a great activist for the welfare of the regular person and a great inspiration of nationality.
His demise on November 12, 2020, came as a shock to many who adored him and as part of keeping his memory, many have, in their personal ways, eulogised the late statesmen.
