KASSON A two-vehicle crash between a car and a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon sent one woman to the hospital.
Dana Marie Hickey, 49, of Dodge Center, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville southbound on Minnesota Highway 56 at 595th Street and Grant Jacob Eipers, 31, of West Concord, was driving a 2006 Freightliner semi tractor-trailer northbound on Highway 56 when the two vehicles collided at 11:15 a.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
Hickey was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus with non-life-threatening injuries. Eipers was not injured.

Nawaz Mehdi Khan, 23, of Columbia Heights, Minn., was driving a 2016 Kawasaki ZX636 southbound on Highway 250 at Bluffview Avenue at 4:06 p.m. when it left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

LANESBORO A motorcycle crash Saturday night in Lanesboro sent one man to the hospital.
Nawaz Mehdi Khan, 23, of Columbia Heights, Minn., was driving a 2016 Kawasaki ZX636 southbound on Highway 250 at Bluffview Avenue at 4:06 p.m. when it left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
Ryan Jeffery Hering, 31, of Blooming Prairie, was driving a 2000 Ford F350 and the female driver of the 2008 Mercury Mountaineer were northbound on Highway 218 at the intersection of Dodge Mower Road at 6:49 p.m.
Both drivers were transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital - Saint Marys Campus with non-life-threatening injuries.

A two-vehicle collision in Orion Township sent two people to the hospital Monday morning.
Rhonda Rae Fellowes-Flies, 57, of Plainview, was driving a 2012 Nissan Rogue southbound on U.S. Highway 52 and turning left into a private driveway, and Kristina Dachelle Youngquist, 29, of Rochester, was driving a 2010 Chevy Equinox, also southbound on Highway 52, when the vehicles collided at 8:16 a.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.
Fellowes-Flies and Youngquist were taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus with non-life-threatening injuries.

ROCHESTER, Minn. Brian McDermott was reading about rockets in his southeast Rochester home when he thought one struck his house late Thursday night, May 6.
Instead, there was a car lodged into the side of his house. Things went flying all the way through the house, past my head, past everywhere, said McDermott, 42. I got up, looked, and saw a car parked in my basement.
