Woodbridge woman charged with murder in boyfriend s stabbing Replay Video UP NEXT WOODBRIDGE – A township woman has been accused of the stabbing death of her live-in boyfriend at the Avenel home they shared. Edna Ciesienski, 59, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the death of David Seniakevgch, 60, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone announced. Ciesienski was being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick pending a detention hearing in state Superior Court. Police responded around 12:03 a.m. Friday to 1256 St. Georges Avenue where they located Seniakevgch, who had suffered a stab wound to his lower body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Man, 75, Dies In Carteret House Fire Tuesday

The fire broke out at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday in a small home on the 100 block of Lowell Street in Carteret, said the Middlesex County prosecutor. Firefighters entered the home and pulled a 75-year-old man out to safety, but he later died from smoke inhalation, said Carteret spokesman Jon Salonis. Subscribe The man has been identified as Mark Levinzon, who lived in the home. He was unresponsive when firefighters pulled him out. The exact cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of an autopsy by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner s Office. Also, what caused the fire has not been released.

A 17-year-old was struck once by gunfire and survived. Ciccone said two 17-year-olds from North Brunswick were charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose. The prosecutor did not reveal the circumstances of the shooting. The teens have not been identified because they are underage. A message on the Plainfield school district website said Atkins was a former Plainfield High School student and the district sent sincere condolences and prayers to his parents.  A spokeswoman for the district had no additional comment.
