ROMANIAN NATIONAL SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON FOR ROLE IN ATM SKIMMING CONSPIRACY January 27, 2021, 12:14 pm | in ROMANIAN NATIONAL SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON FOR ROLE IN ATM SKIMMING CONSPIRACY TRENTON, N.J. – A Romanian national was sentenced today to 60 months in prison for his role in a conspiracy to steal bank account information from thousands of customers by installing secret card-reading devices and pinhole cameras on ATMs throughout New Jersey and elsewhere, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced. Adrian Fichidiu, 37, previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan imposed the sentence by videoconference today.

Charged by complaint with one count of conspiracy to commit burglary involving controlled substances are Jersey City residents Mohummad Simmons, 25, aka “Mo Waps;” Tamir Brown, 27, aka “Stragg;” Rico Phang, 19, aka “Little Mil;” Deon Davis, 24, aka “Dee;” Michael Simeus, 27, aka Jerk;” David Booker, 28; Darrel Hicks, 25; Daquan Hart, 22, aka “Day Day;” Jamiel French, 27, aka “Money Mil;” and Tyriq Rembert, 28.

Woodbridge man, 21, identified as victim in Wednesday fatal house fire Suzanne Russell, MyCentralJersey.com WOODBRIDGE – A 21-year-old man who died in a fire Wednesday morning at an Inman Avenue home in the Avenel section has been identified as a township man. Chadly Julien was found in the basement of the home at 88 Inman Ave. and pronounced dead at the scene, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner announced Friday night.  Authorities responded around 9:12 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a fire at the single-family home, a township fire official said, after a passerby or neighbor saw smoke coming from the home. They banged on the door alerting the father, who called out to other family members inside the house, the official said.
