Authorities in Big Lake are requesting the public s help in locating a 93-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the man as Roberto Sobalvarro. Sobalvarro suffers from dementia, the BCA said.
He was last seen at about noon Wednesday on his way to Elk River.
It is believed he is driving a black 2016 Volkswagen Jetta with Minnesota license plate MZR-928.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Sherburne County dispatch at 763-765-3500.

The 18-year-old man was taken into custody Wednesday night following a joint investigation by Moorhead and Fargo, North Dakota police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. Police found 24-year-old Abdullahi Mohamed Abdullahi, of Moorhead, dead in a cab after responding to a single-vehicle crash in south Moorhead around 3:30 a.m.
Fargo police say Willie Sparkman Junior is also held in connection with two robberies late Tuesday night and early yesterday morning. Those victims were not injured.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) Authorities on Thursday identified a semi-trailer driver who killed himself in a Rochester shopping center parking lot.
The Southern Minnesota Medical Examiner’s Office said Michael Charles Apicella, 63, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, died of two gunshot wounds to the head. No further details were released.
The incident began about 6:45 a.m. Wednesday when three Minnesota State Patrol troopers stopped the semi for a vehicle inspection outside the Miracle Mile shopping center, officials said. At 8:30 a.m., after troopers attempted to detain Apicella for failing to show identification, he took out a gun and shot himself twice, according to the patrol.

ELK RIVER, Minn. Late Wednesday night the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) said a man reported missing on Wednesday afternoon has been found and is safe.
Roberto Sobalvarro was located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. No other details have been released by police about the 93-year-old man, but the Big Lake police department is thanking the public for their help in finding him.
The BCA said on Wednesday that Sobalvarro was last seen in the Elk River area, and had been missing since around noon.
According to the BCA, Sobalvarro has dementia and has no cell phone. His direction of travel was unknown.
