The crash is being investigated by the Greendale Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. Franklin Police Department, as well as Greendale, Greenfield, Franklin, and Milwaukee Fire Departments assisted with the crash. Milwaukee law enforcement create new workspace for violent crime task force

A local law enforcement task force focused on violent crime debuted its first dedicated workspace within the Milwaukee Police Department’s downtown offices Friday. After a historically violent 2020, in which Milwaukee broke its previous homicide record by about 15%, local law enforcement officials are hopeful the new office space will streamline multi-agency investigations into homicides, shootings, carjackings, bank robberies and violent robberies in general. “There will be an increase in collective effort and communication,” Acting Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman said. “As a former detective, I understand that the power of working together… creates greater impact. The power of having different experiences, different resources  I’m looking forward to a great impact from that.”

He grabs at a couple in particular, showing his sister, Teresa Thomas, and her teenage children, Tiera Agee and Demetrius Thomas. “On days like now, I’d be over there,” Hall said on a recent, sunny Friday evening. “My sister would be cooking.” The five victims were shot and killed inside the home they shared with the suspect along the 2800 block of North 12th Street, in the North Division neighborhood, on the Milwaukee’s north side. It was the second mass shooting Milwaukee experienced during a historically violent 2020, just two months after five people were shot and killed at the Molson Coors complex.
