MILWAUKEE - As winter weather made its way across southeastern Wisconsin over the weekend, the Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office responded to more than 184 vehicle-related incidents.

Police ask for help locating missing 13-year-old Milwaukee girl

MILWAUKEE - Police are asking for the public s help locating a missing 13-year-old Milwaukee girl.
Sopherira Lacy went missing on January 30, 2021, at approximately 9:41 a.m. from the area of Hopkins and Villard
Police say Lacy left her residence and did not return.
Lacy is described as an African American female, 13-years of age, 5’00 tall and 124 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.
She is not considered a critical missing at this time.
Milwaukee County correctional officer resigns following sexual assault charges

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) The Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office says Gilberto Fernandez-Rosa, a correctional officer at the Milwaukee County Jail, has resigned as of Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Fernandez-Rosa has been charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault after an inmate accused him of making sexually-charged comments and touching her inappropriately.
He s also charged with one count of fourth degree sexual assault stemming from an allegation made by a former colleague.
In a statement, Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas said:
“The resignation of Mr. Fernandez-Rosa is reflective of the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office holding its members to a high standard and an acknowledgement that he could no longer uphold the high honor of his employment.”
