Home and Away star Orpheus Pledger caught with ICE in his possession

01:53 EDT, 14 July 2021 883 shares Former Home and Away star Orpheus Pledger has asked a magistrate to be gentle on him after cops allegedly caught him with a quantity of methamphetamine - the deadly drug ice.  Pledger, who is known for flaunting his muscular frame in shirtless photos on Instagram, appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday on two counts of drug possession. He had been arrested by Prahran uniformed police on February 19 where he was found with just over half a gram of meth and 30 Diazepam tablets. Pledger s Home and Away character Mason Morgan (left) was killed off in the 2019 season finale. He was caught by uniformed police allegedly in possession of meth.

Mechanic acquitted of murdering baby boy Jaidyn Leskie granted bail for a second time

01:05 EDT, 6 July 2021 A mechanic acquitted of murdering one-year-old boy Jaidyn Leskie has been granted bail again despite going on the run and failing to show his face in court for the second time.  In a sign of Victoria s Covid-plagued justice system, Greg Domaszewicz appeared in a Melbourne court on Tuesday without actually showing up or making any indication to the presiding magistrate he was even present.  Domaszewicz was aged 28 on June 14, 1997 when Jaidyn went missing from his care in Newborough, in Victoria s Latrobe Valley.  Greg Domaszewicz (pictured) was charged with the little boy s death, but was found not guilty The 52-year-old was supposed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday over unrelated assault charges and a charge of failing to appear in court.
