ALBANY, New York, May 19 (TNSsre) The New York State Public Service Commission issued the following order on waiver requests (Case No. 21-T-0059):
In the Matter of Alle-Catt Wind Energy LLC for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need Pursuant to Article VII of the Public Service Law.
ORDER ON WAIVER REQUESTS
INTRODUCTION
On February 10, 2021, Alle-Catt Wind Energy LLC (ACWE) filed an application (Application) for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need (Certificate) pursuant to Article VII of the Public Service Law (PSL). If granted, the Certificate would authorize ACWE to construct, operate, and maintain a new overhead 345 kV electric transmission line and associated equipment (Transmission Facility) located in the towns of Freedom and Yorkshire in Cattaraugus County. OSWEGO â As executive director of the Port of Oswego Authority, Bill Scriber has reminded Oswegonians in the past, the Port is a business. It is not a state-owned non-profit. It is a state-owned business and as such has responsibilities and financial obligations requiring it to behave accordingly.
As Scriber has said, âWe are a commercial port. We do not receive state funding for operations.â
