Teenager taken to hospital after being stabbed in Grantham

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed during an incident in Grantham this morning.
Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to Swinegate, Grantham, shortly after 11.30am, to reports that an 18-year-old man had knife wound injuries.
He was taken to the Queen s Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham.
Police responded to a report of a knife assault this morning.(44290893)
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: This incident relates to an assault on Swinegate, Grantham where an 18 year old man received injuries consistent with a knife wound.

A man has been charged with assault and criminal damage after allegedly pinning a hospital nurse against a wall while refusing coronavirus treatment.
Police said officers were called to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham after a man was said to have cracked a window, pushed one nurse and pinned another against a wall.
Jake Brinley was arrested at the scene at around 8.50am on Tuesday, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The 23-year-old has now been charged with two counts of assault and one charge of criminal damage.
Two response constables were forced to physically restrain the man and now have to to self-isolate for 10 days, police said.

Care home residents made cards and sent get well wishes to the Mayor of Grantham after he suffered a stroke recently.
Residents and staff at Red Court Care Community, on St Edmunds Close, Grantham, have spent their afternoons crafting cards for Councillor Dean Ward who is recovering at home after an operation.
Throughout the pandemic Red Court has received a number of fantastic donations from members of the community and as a way of thanking Grantham, residents and staff wanted to give something back as they know from direct experience that kind words and gestures go such a long way.
