Brown was one of nearly 350 seniors who graduated during Thursday’s ceremony, which the school held in front of the campus new administrative building in Victorville.

Sheriff s officials are asking town residents to be on alert after a security camera spotted a mountain lion roaming an Apple Valley neighborhood before dawn on Thursday.
Video surveillance captured the wild cat at 3 a.m. near Skyline Ranch Drive and Sitting Bull Road, between Apple Valley and Kiowa roads, according to an Apple Valley Sheriff s Station Facebook post.
In situations like this one, town residents who see the animal are asked to call sheriff s dispatch at 760-956-5001 or Apple Valley Animal Control at 760-240-7000.
Mountain lion sightings are not uncommon in Southern California or the High Desert. Last year, the Associated Press reported a baby boom of sorts when 13 kittens were born to five mountain lions between May and August in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
A 29-year-old man was arrested after he forced entry into a Victorville apartment and attempted to use his vehicle to crash into a sheriff’s patrol unit, authorities said.
