Boston officer hospitalized following suspected drunk driving incident The hurt officer was taken to a nearby hospital by Boston EMS and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.  Email A Boston police officer was hospitalized early Sunday morning after a collision in Roxbury involving a suspected drunk driver.  Boston police responded to a call about a two motor vehicle crash involving a police cruiser at 12:58 a.m. on Sunday. The police report said the injured officer was found on the ground next to the hit police cruiser near 1885 Columbus Ave.  The hurt officer was taken to a nearby hospital by Boston EMS and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
