Warrant: Suspect in sex assault case offered money, internet access for girl s silence
A 46-year-old man remained jailed Monday after he was recently arrested, accused of raping a 15-year-old girl.
Brijido Trevino was booked-in about 12:20 p.m. Friday into the Lubbock County Detention Center on a felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Trevino was arrested on a warrant in connection with a December Lubbock police investigation that began when officers encountered a 15-year-old runaway who accused Trevnio of raping her multiple times starting when she was in middle school, according to the warrant.
During a forensic interview, the girl recounted multiple episodes of sexual abuse at the hands of Trevino, who her family had been living with for about eight years. She recounted four times that Trevino raped her, the warrant states.
A Lubbock woman is behind bars and faces multiple charges after she tried to steal beer from a local gas station and made a decision that could have killed someone.
KAMC News reports the incident began Friday, January 29th, when 26-year-old Summer Nicole Hernandez tried to steal two cases of Budweiser from the Valero at Frankford Avenue, just off the Spur 327 access road.
A police report states that Hernandez then tried to escape in a stolen car she was driving but someone intervened. A man inside the store, who happened to be dating the Valero cashier, chased Hernandez outside and tried to stop her from leaving.

Minutes after a vehicle theft in progress was dispatched, an officer observed the stolen vehicle traveling eastbound on 34th Street near Avenue L.
The officer turned around to initiate a stop, and the vehicle immediately began to evade. The vehicle went through a parking lot on the southwest corner of 34th Street and Avenue A and collided into a street lamp and a fiber optic box.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock man has been arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Brijido Marcos Trevino, 46, of Lubbock is currently in the Lubbock County Detention Center. He was booked into the jail on Jan. 29, 2021.
The police report was filed in December 2020 after a runaway female made sexual assault allegations against Trevino.
Debi Holland, who was accused in 2016 of covering up the sexual abuse of her disabled daughter Holli Jeffcoat, has been denied parole.
On February 10th, 2016, 18-year-old Holli Jeffcoat was found stabbed to death in a home that someone tried to set on fire. She was pregnant at the time, and when officers found her body, the womb and uterus were cut out.
KAMC News reports that not even two weeks before she was killed, Holli Jeffcoat told school officials that her stepfather, James Holland, had been sexually abusing her. It was alleged that Holland would regularly pick her up after school and take her to a secluded area to have sex with her.
