The charges date over a two month period between April 28 2020 and June 30 2020, all of which allegedly took place at Ulster Bank, Main Street, Longford under Section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act.

Pat Donnelly, Barrack Street, Granard, was pulled over by Gda Aidan Lenehan last March. “On March 31, 2020, at 9.55am on Barrack Street, I saw a jeep and observed the driver holding a black mobile phone. He was holding it with his left hand, across his face to his right ear,” Gda Lenehan told the court last week.

UPDATE: Longford man (40s) held on suspicion of alleged €100k money laundering to appear at special court sitting Reporter: );   ); A Longford man arrested on suspicion of deception and money laundering involving more than €100,000 is to appear at a special sitting of Longford District Court this evening.   The man, who is aged in his mid 40s, was arrested this morning by gardaí from Longford and the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB). He is due to appear before a special sitting of Longford District Court at 6pm.
