Lancaster General Health has new anesthesiology practice

LG Health Physicians Anesthesiology is located at 555 N. Duke St. in Lancaster.
The practice employs 35 physicians and six certified registered nurse anesthetists, who were previously part of Anesthesia Associates of Lancaster.
“The addition of the anesthesiology practice further enhances LG Health Physicians’ diverse portfolio of specialty medical providers,” the hospital system said in a press release.
Anesthesia Associates of Lancaster had provided exclusive services to LG Health, including Lancaster General Hospital, Women & Babies Hospital and Physicians Surgery Center, since 1970.
“Our physicians and CRNAs believe there are substantial benefits to be derived by joining LGHP and being part of Penn Medicine,” Dr. Kevin F. Slenker, president of Anesthesia Associates of Lancaster said in a press release.
