A Wilkes-Barre man is facing child pornography production charges after police said they found video of him fondling a young girl on his computer.
Joshua Edwards, 26, was arrested Tuesday night when police executed a search of his home at 74 Barney St., Wilkes-Barre.
According to a complaint filed by city police and Luzerne County detectives, police began investigating Edwards in October after receiving a report of a sexual assault.
Edwardsâ girlfriend had been helping him with training videos for work on his laptop computer when she discovered videos depicting Edwards touching a young girl, according to the complaint.
Police charged Edwards with recording child sex acts, possessing child porn, criminal use of a communication facility, indecent assault of a child, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child.

A man who has been wanted in Pennsylvania in the United States (US) since 2006 and is on that state’s 10 most wanted list, was apprehended in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this week.
Kern Z Mayers, a Vincentian national, was taken into custody on Thursday by local police, after law enforcement in the US alerted Vincentian authorities that Mayers was hiding in SVG.
Commissioner of Police (COP) Colin John confirmed to SEARCHLIGHT on Saturday night that Mayers had been taken into custody and extradition proceedings will be held.
KINGSTON â Police say they were forced to use a Taser on a dog, searched a church and fought with a domestic abuse suspect during a tense few hours on Zerby Avenue on Monday.
Officers were called to 225 Zerby Ave. around 1 p.m. for the report of a man who assaulted and choked a woman.
âWhen my officers arrived on scene, the male sent an aggressive pitbull on one of our guys, ordering the dog to âget him,ââ Kingston police Chief Rich Kotchik said. âOur officer then used a Taser to hold back the pitbull.â
The dog was placed back in the cage the man released the animal from.
