A former youth sports coach already accused of molesting three young girls was charged Wednesday with molesting a fourth girl whose family he befriended.
Joseph William Ratowski, 47, of Edwardsville, was charged with indecent assault, a misdemeanor, and a felony count of corruption of a minor.
According to a complaint Luzerne County detectives filed in court, the girl, now 16, reported that Ratowski had molested her repeatedly over the course of about a year starting when she was 12 years old.
Ratowski was a friend of the victimâs family, according to the complaint.
The charges are the third set to be filed against Ratowski, a former football coach for the Edwardsville Eagles and a baseball coach for the West Side Teeners.
