LEXINGTON, S.C. Investigators say she was found murdered in a wooded area in Lexington County two months after she went missing in 2005.
For 16 years, the family of 36-year-old Diana Willmeth has waited for a breakthrough in her case.
To this day, her killer remains unidentified.
Her parents haven t lost hope that someone will come forward holding the missing piece that will solve the puzzle of their daughter s murder.

Sanaa Mahari Amenhotep’s death will not be in vain.
At Weequahic High School, the school Sanaa once attended, Saleemah Graham-Fleming swore to the crowd that gathered Thursday that her 15-year-old daughter who was shot and killed in South Carolina would be a spark for change in Newark and beyond.
No matter what it takes.
“That girl is going to ring bells if it kills me,” Graham-Fleming vowed, as her voice rang out across Untermann Field, as she held Sanaa’s sisters.

May 3 The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Lexington County on Monday afternoon as a strong storm system ripped across parts of South Carolina.
A tornado warning was issued for the Gilbert, Red Bank and Summit areas in Lexington County until 4:15 p.m. Monday. Aside from the possibility of a tornado, the weather service warned of the potential of lightning and quarter-sized hail.
At 4:15 p.m., the weather service downgraded the alert to a severe thunderstorm warning for Lexington.
The tornado warning for Lexington followed tornado warnings in several other counties in South Carolina, including Newberry, Greenwood, and Abbeville counties on Monday afternoon. LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. The Lexington County Coroner s office says a missing Richland County teen who was murdered died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Coroner Margaret Fisher released the results of an autopsy done Friday on 15-year-old Sanaa Amenhotep. The autopsy was conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Fisher officially ruled the teen s death a homicide.
Amenhotep was reported missing on April 5, and Fisher said based on their findings, they now believe she was killed the same day of her disappearance.
Authorities in South Carolina said they have arrested an 18-year-old in the killing of a Newark peace activist’s teenage daughter who was reported missing in early April. Lexington County sheriff department deputies arrested Treveon Nelson on Friday near Leesville, South Carolina and said he will be charged with murder.
