Melrose Open Studio Tour (MOST) kicked off this season’s first summer art market on June 26 at the Beebe Estate, featuring works from local artists from communities up and down the North Shore of Boston.
The art market showcases artists who exhibit and sell their work, while simultaneously bringing the community together to cherish local art. The first art market showcased 14 artists, and the second art market planned for July 31 will feature 20 artists showcasing paintings, jewelry, mosaic art, and more.
The art market is set up similarly to the Melrose Farmers Market, but for artists. It’s a great way to showcase and support the Melrose arts community, and started last year as an open-air alternative to indoor exhibitions that became very popular with families in Melrose.

There are steps you can take to keep your flowers fresh for longer.
For flower lovers, nothing brightens up a home more than receiving a beautiful flower arrangement or getting to keep a fancy bridesmaid bouquet.
On the flip side, nothing is sadder than finally having to throw out your dead, withered flowers once their time comes to pass. The reality, of course, is that cut flowers don’t always live for very long. This is especially true for things like wedding blooms, which are primed to be at their peak on the day of the nuptials.
