U S Marshals Arrest Two Different Homicide Suspects Within Hours

By Steve Bailey U.S. Marshals of Northern Ohio Cleveland, OH - Earlier today, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested 24-year-old David Moore, wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police and 31-year-old Carlton Dotson, wanted by the Warrensville Heights Police Department, both for murder. Moore was the last of three suspects wanted for a homicide that occurred on March 29, 2021. Cleveland Police Officers responded to a call of a male who had been shot on Hosmer Ave. in Cleveland’s Slavic Village. The victim, 20-year-old Tyronte Peterson, had been shot in the neck. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. Last month, the NOVFTF arrested Terry Lee Trussell Jr. and Terry Lee Trussell III, who are brothers, on East 95th St. for their connection to the homicide. Early this morning investigators were able to locate the last suspect, David Moore, who is also a brother of Trussell Jr. and Trussell III. Moore was arrested without incident on E

Most Wanted back after week s absence

View Comments MANSFIELD - After a week s absence, Most Wanted is back with four fugitives who have ties to Mansfield. Michael Bond, 34, is wanted on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender out of Richland County, as well as a probation violation for failure to register. He also has ties to Sciotoville. Bond is 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs 215 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. William Campbell, 37, is being sought on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs. In addition to Mansfield, he has ties to Shelby. Campbell is 5-8 and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes.

Mansfield Police Department short staffed

View Comments MANSFIELD - Seven members of the Mansfield Police Department will retire on or before June 2, requiring police Chief Keith Porch to put some personnel back on patrol temporarily. And sick leave, maternity leave and administrative leave on the force also has caused the chief to pull some officers back to patrol duties.  Three officers have retired since Jan. 1 - officers Rich Dittrich and Jeff McKinley and Capt. Doug Noblet. Officers Ron Barnes, Orlando Chatman and Andy Boor and assistant Chief Joe Petrycki will retire on or before June 2. The total number of officers on patrol is 39 with 12 supervisors, Porch said.

Escaped Carjacking & Rape Suspect Arrested by U S Marshals

By Steve Bailey Lavelle Spencer Cleveland, OH - Earlier this morning, members of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested 17-year-old Lavelle Spencer. Spencer was wanted for Escape. On May 15, 2021, Spencer escaped from the Warrensville Developmental Center, where he was being treated, by court order, to stand trial. Spencer is awaiting trial on charges including robbery, aggravated robbery, grand theft, having weapons while under disability, failure to comply with an order of a police officer, assault, gross sexual imposition, kidnapping and rape. The U.S. Marshals offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to Spencer’s capture. Numerous tips were vetted by investigators throughout the course of the investigation. Car Jacking and Rape Suspect Wanted by U S Marshals

Cleveland, OH – The United States Marshals Service is in search of 17-year-old Lavelle Spencer. Spencer is currently wanted for escape from custody by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. Spencer has pending charges in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for aggravated robbery, assault, various weapons violations, kidnapping, gross sexual imposition, and rape. Spencer is listed as a 17-year-old black male, standing approximately 5’10” and weighing approximately 150 pounds. Family, friends, and associates of Spencer are reminded that providing assistance could result in criminal charges. A reward for up to $5,000 is being offered for information directly leading to the arrest of Lavelle Spencer.
