As of Tuesday, 2,198,898 people are fully vaccinated, or 25.8 percent of the population. Vaccinations are continuing after eligibility opened to everyone 16 and older. All areas were directed to start phase 2 of vaccinations by April 18, but some areas of the state began the phase before then. Eligible residents can search for appointments directly through vaccinefinder.org, but people eligible in phases 1a, 1b or 1c having trouble finding an appointment can preregister at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Anyone with language or computer barriers can call the statewide vaccine hotline at 877-829-4682 daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
