The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 652,321 total cases, 507,262 of which are confirmed and 145,059 are probable. There are 10,666 total COVID-19 related deaths, with 8,954 being confirmed and 1,712 being probable. The case numbers are up by 1,340, and deaths are up by 13 since Thursday.
A total of 6,917,191 COVID-19 PCR tests have now been given in Virginia.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Friday, there are 924 people currently being hospitalized, confirmed with COVID-19. There are 133 people receiving inpatient hospital care whose test results are still pending. Combined, there are a total of 1,057 being hospitalized for corona

VIRGINIA Over 40 percent of people in Virginia have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Virginia Department of Health. As of Tuesday, 2,198,898 people are fully vaccinated, or 25.8 percent of the population.
Vaccinations are continuing after eligibility opened to everyone 16 and older. All areas were directed to start phase 2 of vaccinations by April 18, but some areas of the state began the phase before then. Eligible residents can search for appointments directly through vaccinefinder.org, but people eligible in phases 1a, 1b or 1c having trouble finding an appointment can preregister at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Anyone with language or computer barriers can call the statewide vaccine hotline at 877-829-4682 daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to their website, there are now 648,347 total cases, 504,623 of which are confirmed and 143,724 are probable. There are 10,625 total COVID-19 related deaths, with 8,920 being confirmed and 1,705 being probable. The case numbers are up by 1,236, and deaths are up by 30 since Monday.
