And there are no newly recorded deaths at Worcestershire Heath and Care NHS Trust, with its total remaining at 63. The total number of coronavirus related deaths in Worcestershire hospitals therefore remains at 869. In all settings, which includes care homes and hospices, the total stays at 1,354. The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

This means the number of deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has risen to 806 with the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust’s total staying at 63. In total, there have been 867 Covid deaths in county hospitals and at least 1,353 in all settings. The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.
COURT: Some of the cases being heard in Worcester today A WOMAN is due in for sentence for sexual activity and sexual communication with a child. Nicola Holton, 36, of Willis Place, Worcester is due to be sentenced today by Judge Nicolas Cartwright this morning after admitting sexual activity with a child. Also in court one is the bench warrant for Claudio Megi, 36, of Green Farm Hostel, Clos-tan-y-Flan in relation to a conspiracy to covert criminal property. This will be followed by the sentence of Dwight Hemming and Ben Harrison. Yesterday James Pratt, 54, of Park Close, Malvern, was convicted of two attacks on ambulance workers at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester on September 8, 2019. The case was prosecuted by John Brotherton. Pratt had conducted his down defence but barrister Jason Aris conducted the cross-examination on his behalf.
The latest plans show how the new A&E department at Worcestershire Royal Hospital would look MAJOR plans to move and expand the county’s A&E department have been put forward. The multi-million pound work would see the relocation of the A&E department at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the creation of a new ‘emergency village’ on the site. The plans, which have now been submitted to Worcester City Council for consideration, were drawn up after £15 million was made available to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver improvements in urgent care facilities in the city. Drawings show a 971 square metre single-storey extension to the side of the hospital’s Aconbury East ward which will house its new urgent and emergency care facilities. A dedicated children’s A&E department will also be built.

Josh Sims is due in Worcester Magistrates Court today where he faces six charges including four of sexual assault on a female child and two of assaulting a girl by touching. Sims of Pool Farm Road, Birmingham is alleged to have committed the offences in Worcester and West Glamorgan.
