EVANSVILLE, Ind. Police now believe the person found dead inside a house in the 500 block of South Bedford Avenue on Saturday was part of a related burglary and not a victim of it.
Three men have already been arrested and face felony burglary charges related to the incident and a fourth is now also being sought. Vanderburgh Coroner Steve Lockyear identified the man as Timothy Y. Adams, 28, of Evansville.
A Monday autopsy concluded he died from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Kingston Southard, 22; Zaelin Fox, 18; and Dayvon Lang, 24; were booked into Vanderburgh County Jail early Sunday. They now face charges of burglary causing death, obstruction of justice and criminal organization activity, said Sgt. Nick Winsett, spokesman for the Evansville Police Department.
