Deshea Agee will step down later this month to pursue an undisclosed new opportunity. He has led the organization since 2016 and prior to that worked on the corridor while he was at the Department of City Development.

A&A is a subcontractor working primarily for FedEx. The company works on three separate routes running three Sprinter vans on a package pickup and delivery route in the West Allis area and two “line haul” routes with two semitrucks each carrying a double-trailer running from Illinois to the Milwaukee area.

As of Monday, May 24, 2021 applications are being accepted for the Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant. The program, administered by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in collaboration with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, will award $420 million to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is being funded with money received from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act.
“Many small businesses have struggled to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this grant opportunity is another way in which we can help our local entrepreneurs recover faster as we head into the summer. I would encourage business owners in my district, and across the city, to submit their grant applications today,” said Alderwoman
