Rescued from slavery in Dubai, 10 women return home in Hyderabad ByP PavanP Pavan / Updated: Jan 3, 2021, 21:11 IST Hyderabad: Ten out of 25 women, said to have been trafficked to Dubai during September and October in the post-lockdown period, safely reached their homes in Hyderabad. Another ten were also rescued and are waiting for their visa papers, while five others are still being traced. The rescue mission was carried out by the Indian External Affairs ministry, following alerts raised by Amjed Ullah Khan of the Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) Party. According to Amjed, the agents had lured the women with jobs in Dubai and trafficked them in different spells during the two months. They were sold off to locals for slavery.
