The program teaches practical job skills through training courses to better prepare inmates for job readiness. The first course offered will train inmates to print and apply custom designed vinyl graphics onto vehicles. Future training will include pre-apprenticeship classes in the areas of Heating and Air Conditioning and Electrical.

Parents arrested on felony child neglect charges after children found living in filthy conditions

4 hours ago Share by: Shannon Martin Public Affairs Officer, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested two local parents April 22 after deputies found their three young children living in filthy conditions at a Bunnell home.  “I am so glad that we were able to get these kids out of this house before someone was injured or became seriously ill as a result of the conditions inside the home,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Between the trash, bugs, and the human excrement found inside the home, this situation could have had a tragic ending. Hopefully, DCF and other agencies will help these parents and children get the help they need. It is unfortunate these conditions and the parent’s lack of actions deteriorated to a criminal case.”
