Stearns County Sheriff s Office (KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing teenager. Deputies say 14-year-old Alexus Rayne Norberg left her home in St. Cloud on January 19th without her parents’ permission, and no one has heard from her since, and they say her whereabouts are unknown. Alexus is 5’3″ tall, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black tank top and white jeans with black shoes, and she was carrying a pink backpack. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office at 320-251-4240 or call 911.

Author: A petition circulating in a western Twin Cities community seeks to allow a retired police officer to keep his K9 partner.  Officer Cody Vojacek medically retired from the Corcoran Police Department on Dec. 18, 2020, which he said  in a Facebook post was due to PTSD that caused suicidal ideation and attempts. During his 4.5 years with the department, he helped start a K9 program, which led to him being paired up with his K9 partner Zeke.

Melrose Man Dies in Workplace Accident MELROSE TOWNSHIP  A Melrose man is dead after a workplace accident near Melrose Friday. The Stearns County Sheriff s Office was called to a business at 36177 County Road 186 in Melrose Township just before 5:30 p.m. The sheriff s office says 32-year-old Keith Kingsley had been sanitizing a turkey barn with a farm tractor and trailer when the accident happened. Responding officers found Kingsley trapped and entangled in the tractor s power take-off. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
