Snohomish chiropractor accused of sexual misconduct at his clinic Published  A chiropractor in Washington state faces six counts of indecent liberties. SNOHOMISH, Wash. - A half-dozen former patients have accused a Snohomish chiropractor of sexual misconduct at his clinic, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives suspect Dr. Ken Parker had been practicing in spite of a suspended license, the sheriff’s office said Monday. Police arrested Parker, 61, last week for investigation of indecent liberties by a health care professional, The Daily Herald reported. He remained in jail Tuesday with bail set at $250,000, jail records show. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer.

Mayor outlines measures to address hate after swastikas found on Southwest County Park trees

MY EDMONDS NEWS Posted: May 3, 2021 Mayor Mike Nelson  Following a report that swastikas were recently spray-painted on the trunks of several trees at Southwest County Park, Edmonds Mayor Mike Nelson on Monday outlined what he called a proactive plan to address this and other “acts of hate” in the city. According to a mayor’s office announcement, an Edmonds resident alerted the City of Edmonds and Snohomish County officials of the swastikas at the park, which is owned and managed by Snohomish County but located between Olympic View Drive and 76th Avenue in Edmonds. A coordinated effort was launched to address the situation involving the city, Snohomish County Parks and the Snohomish County Executive’s office.

April 21 24000 block Van Ry Boulevard: Edmonds police assist the Mountlake Terrace Police Department with locating multiple burglary suspects. The suspects were not located, but a lot of evidence was recovered. 22200 block Highway 99: A man was trespassed from a location and arrested for a warrant. 24100 block Highway 99: A disturbance occurred when a woman was accused of shoplifting. Charges are pending further investigation.

MISSING: Family hoping someone can help find Craig Johnson who hasn’t been seen in weeks He was reported missing to the Snohomish County Sheriff s Office on April 13th. His last known address was in Everett, but his sister says he d been living homeless for a while and the last time anyone saw Craig was at the Residence Inn hotel on Terry Ave. in downtown Seattle. That was April 6th. Detectives say Craig s silver Volkswagen Jetta was involved in a trespass incident in Lynnwood five days later, but Craig wasn t in the car. He was not reported missing for two more days, so his Jetta wasn t flagged at the time.

Credit: Courtesy of Snohomish County Sheriff s Office Melissa Lee, 15, was found dead on April 14, 1993 in Everett, Wash. No drugs or alcohol were found in Melissa’s system. However, a toxicology report discovered Ethyl Ether and Heptane chemicals, the sheriff’s office said. During the investigation, detectives found notes in Melissa’s address book and a phone number for someone named “Michael.” The man was later identified as Dean, who said he met Melissa through a night talk line and used the name “Mike.”  Dean was interviewed three times in 1993 and said he dated Melissa twice in March 1993. Detectives confirmed Dean was living on Madison Street in Everett at the time of the murder. His home was about 3.6 miles from where Melissa’s body was found.
