Police are appealing for witnesses after a girl was bitten by a dog that was reportedly dangerously out of control.
Two men were sentenced after conning thousands out of vulnerable people in Watford. Two men have been jailed after they targeted vulnerable people in Watford and conned them out of thousands of pounds. Ishmail Sarwar, 24, of High Road, Willesden, and Zhaigham Kiyani, 26, of Craigmuir Park, Wembley, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud on April 21. The pair were involved in courier fraud offences between October 2019 and January 2020, in which they contacted vulnerable people in Watford and Welwyn Garden City pretending to be a DC Martin Rose. The victims were informed that their bank accounts were being used by fraudsters and asked to withdraw money, purchase high value items or provide bank cards.

Two men have been found guilty after raping a girl under 16 inside a car in Watford.
It was awful to go through this, Alex told the Comet. It felt like I was being stalked. To get that message out of the blue was quite a shock. Makes you wonder who you can trust in this day and age. It s scary because you don t know what their intentions are.
PC Martin also sent a video of police officers escorting a detainee to a police vehicle.
An investigation was launched following the complaint, and it became apparent that PC Martin had another live complaint against him which had also been assessed as applicable for a gross misconduct hearing.
