$4.7M in grant funds available for programs to benefit community
Money can be used for home repairs, infrastructure, economic development

A dozen people including several local government officials attended a public meeting Wednesday to discuss more than $4.7 million in potential funding through various grant programs.
The list of potential revenue providers included the Small Cities Program (Community Development Block Grant), HOME Program, Ohio Housing Trust Fund, Appalachian Regional Commission, U.S. Economic Development Administration and other related sources.
"This is an information meeting regarding what funds are available in Cambridge and Guernsey County," said Economic & Community Development Executive Director Kim Haught during the meet at Cambridge City Park. "The list is not as big as it once was, but something is better than nothing,"
