Expansion and more funding of a $10,000 home-hardening grant program was overwhelmingly approved by Florida's Legislature and now awaits Gov. DeSantis' signature. If signed, up to $10,000-per home will be made available for storm-resistant improvements throughout the state, and not just to homes near the coast.
