“I started baking in May for Mother’s Day,” London said in an interview with ABC 6. “I made a whole cake, and I sliced it, and I delivered it to mothers to make them happy,” she said. “When I got back home, they were asking for whole cakes.” London, with the help of her mother, Tramaine Warrick, started Lovely London Delights after word got out about the little baker’s cakes and demand for orders came in. Even though Tramaine told people the baker they were looking for was only 11 years old, she said people didn’t care, they just wanted the cake. “From there, so many people we didn’t know were finding out from other people, they just started to ask us to order cakes,” she said.
