$183M in Rescue Plan Relief Marked for 4 San Fernando Colleg

More than $183 million in emergency funding will be made available to four San Fernando Valley colleges under the American Rescue Plan, Reps. Tony Cardenas and Brad Sherman announced Thursday in a joint statement.
The funding is ticketed for Cal State Northridge, Los Angeles Pierce College, Los Angeles Valley College and Los Angeles Mission College, the congressmen said. The money is intended to help the institutions cope with the severe financial fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic and continue serving their students safely.
