Date Time 22 flood rescues as volunteers prepare for more rain NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) volunteers have been called to 22 flood rescues overnight as wet weather continues until the weekend. NSW SES is pleading with members of the public not to drive through floodwater and to keep up-to-date with the latest flood and storm bulletins. The Bureau of Meteorology has warned more storms are forecast across most of Eastern NSW this afternoon and over the next few days. It is important to never drive, ride or walk through floodwater – if it’s flooded, forget it. Limit any unnecessary travel during severe weather.
