Rejects NJ Hotel's Challenge To Labor Violations Law360 (February 16, 2021, 8:19 PM EST) -- The Third Circuit signed off Tuesday on National Labor Relations Board findings that a New Jersey hotel improperly terminated a maid for complaining to a union, barred a union representative from visiting the facility and let employees' health insurance plans lapse before ensuring that new coverage took effect. In a nonprecedential opinion, a three-judge panel said it would enforce the board's order that Arbah Hotel Corp., doing business as Meadowlands View Hotel, violated the National Labor Relations Act with respect to those three disputes and other matters in dealing with the New York Hotel and Motel Trades Council AFL-CIO.
