The Coast Guard received a call around 7 p.m Saturday about a boat with five people on board that had crashed into the drawbridge. 33-year-old Rod Willhoft of Arabi, was ejected into the water. According to St. Tammany Fire District's social media pages, the other four passengers on the boat were airlifted to University Medical Center New Orleans by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for further medical care.
