A doctor’s tale Dr Vaishali Dr Vaishali Chaudhary was born in Sassoon General Hospital to a middle-class family 51 years ago. She considers herself fortunate to have been able to complete her graduation and post-graduation at Sassoon General Hospital itself. Thereafter, she went to become a gynaecologist, and by doing so, she could serve women in the same labour room where she was born. “My mother wanted me to become a gynaecologist as she had suffered during her delivery and she wanted me to help women in distress,” says Chaudhary.
