Date Time Additional $12.5 million for Emergency Relief across Australia The Morrison Government is providing an additional $12.5 million to 46 emergency relief providers in areas of urgent need. Minister for Families and Social Services Anne Ruston said the funding would ensure emergency relief service providers could continue to support Australians doing it tough. “The funds will be shared among providers in communities where there is high demand for support, including regions in New South Wales impacted by recent flooding. “This top up will allow providers to support Australians experiencing financial hardship, by providing food hampers, clothing, petrol vouchers or help with paying a bill.
