Adria Arjona joins Father of the Bride remake with Andy Garcia
Good Omens) has joined the latest 
Father of the Bride remake starring as Andy Garcia’s daughter. The film comes from Warner Bros. and Plan B with director Gaz Alazraki (
Club de Cuevros) attached.
The new
Father of the Bride will “tell the story of a father coming to grips with his daughter’s upcoming wedding through the prism of multiple relationships within a big, sprawling Cuban-American family.” The script is being written by Matt Lopez.
This will mark the third version of 
Father of the Bride after the 1950 original and the 1991 remake with Steve Martin. Martin’s iteration was so successful it spawned a 1995 sequel
