“We carriers rode our bikes to the alley by The Forum and waited for the press run to start.
“There was a window between the pressroom and where we received the papers, and there was a steel table there. We called out our route number and received the papers there.
“You needed to count them and fold them, attach them to your bike and ride to where your route began.
